About us
Join us and spread the joy of food in elderly care! We need more people for our staffing pool and are looking for you who want to work extra as a cook. With us you cook home cooking, bake and create desserts from scratch with high quality and real ingredients.
Your duties include preparing and serving good and nutritious meals to our customers. In our kitchens, you cook from scratch, have seasonal menus and work actively to reduce food waste. The duties also include dishes, cleaning and self-control. Since the business is open every day of the year, you work on various scheduled work shifts within the time frame of 06:00–17:30 and some weekends.
Together, we work so that the elderly feel secure, trusted and able to live as good a life as possible, with independence every day, all their lives. We have workplaces throughout Gothenburg, so you have every opportunity to work where it suits you. It should be fun to go to work and we are looking for someone who can bring joy and has the will to learn!
You cannot have more than one active employment in the City of Gothenburg at a time. Please note that working as an hourly temporary worker with us requires that you do not have another employment that exceeds 50%.
You choose which days you want to be available for work by entering it into our booking system. You will then be booked into work shifts based on the needs of the businesses. We are looking for you who want a developing extra job, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference!
About you
You work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect. You are positive, solution-focused and willing to help. When the working day turns out to be different than planned, you can change your way of working and see the possibilities in the change. You plan, organize and prioritize work effectively. What you start, you always make sure to finish.
We also have some requirements
You must have turned 18 before 1 June 2026, in accordance with the Norwegian Working Environment Authority’s regulation on the working environment of minors (AFS 2023:2, ch. 8)
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required as the work involves passing on information to colleagues
Good digital skills as you need to manage different IT systems
Training or ongoing training as a chef
Meritorious but no requirements
Work experience from a commercial kitchen or restaurant
Work experience from food handling, hygiene and senior meals
